LIVERMORE — Livermore Falls Seniors met at Murry Hall with 33 in attendance. Fern Doiron presided over the meeting that opened with prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women serving home and abroad.

Marielle Labbe won the door prize. Prizes donated by Nancy Couture, Fern Doiron and Marilyn Disotto were won by Clemence Moreau and George Doiron, who won the two Easter baskets, and Rene Therrien and Joyce Richards. Each year the person who wins the Easter baskets must bring them back the following year filled to be raffled off.

Reported on the sick list were Blanch Bilodeau, Janet Wright, Dot Wilson and Gene Pomerleau.

The secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were read and accepted.

Pat LaVerdier spoke again on the Foster Clam Bake. She would like to take a count next meeting. Friends and spouses are invited.

Normally there is no meeting the Monday after Easter Sunday, but by unanimous vote a meeting will be held April 9. Northstar Ambulance will attend the meeting to give free blood pressure checks and to speak on other topics.

Jim Williams took the floor and read a couple of jokes. After the meal cards and games were enjoyed.
