RUMFORD — Mary Rawlins, 97, died Friday, April 6, at the Rumford Community Home. She resided in Wayne and Rumford.

She was born in Rumford, March 16, 1915, a daughter of William and Anne (Litvaitis) Milishousky. She was a graduate of Mexico High school. She worked for the Oxford Paper Co. in Rumford. She was a communicant of the Parish of The Holy Savior St. Athanasius–St. John Church.

She was married in Rumford, Nov. 19, 1948, to Joseph Rawlins Jr., who died in Waterville, Aug. 13, 1990.

Survivors include a sister, Josie Yarnish of Mexico; several grandchildren; and a niece, Sally Yarnish of Mexico.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Ann Heiser.
