Please join us at noon for a live chat at noon with members of The Maine Society of Landscape Architects to envision what a new park on the riverside in New Auburn would look like.
The Androscoggin Land Trust and National Park Service efforts along the Androscoggin Greenway in Lewiston-Auburn have caught the attention of the Maine Society of Landscape Architects. As part of Landscape Architecture month in April, they have chosen a project at the confluence of the Androscoggin and Little Androscoggin Rivers to envision a new signature park for the neighborhood.
This noon chat is a preview for a community meeting later this evening, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Barker Mill Community Room. A team of landscape architects from around Maine will lead a community design charrette for the park.
