HEBRON — Hebron Academy Head of School John King and Hebron Cum Laude Chapter secretary John Curtis have announced the 2012 Cum Laude Society inductees. The society recognizes academic achievement in secondary schools for the purpose of promoting excellence, justice and honor, according to its mission statement.
Hebron’s chapter was chartered in 1927 and is one of only five participating Maine secondary schools. Elected students are honored in a special spring ceremony and dinner held yearly in May. Area inductees are:
Seniors: Matt Fensore, New Gloucester; Rebekah Jett, Norway; Max Middleton, Hebron.
Juniors: Brad Geismar, Minot; Sydney Randall, New Gloucester.
