JAY — Selectmen revised their meeting schedule Monday night for April and May due to conflicts in schedules.
The board will not meet Monday, April 23, unless something important comes up that cannot wait, Town Manager Ruth Cushman said.
The board moved its next meeting to Monday, May 7, which will be primarily an executive session with legal counsel, unless something has to be acted on.
The meeting that would fall on Memorial Day has been moved to Monday, May 21.

* Forester Steve Gettle updated selectmen on the timber harvest on the town’s land behind the high school referred to as the tower lot. So far, the timber has generated $115,291 for the town. Twenty-three percent of 152 acres remain to be cut.
Gettle said the lot was on track to exceed the bid of L & A Ridley Inc. of Jay of $130,471 for the wood. Logger Ron Ridley is working on the town’s transfer station lot and will return to the tower lot when he finishes.
