The event drew almost 700 tasters with 21 restaurants participating to benefit Longley Elementary School and the Green Ladle scholarship fund.
Darlene Major of Minot samples some of the chili and chowder at the Chili and Chowder Taste Challenge on Wednesday at the Ramada Conference Center in Lewiston. Major said she was enjoying the event and that the chili from Governor’s had her vote. The ninth annual taste challenge drew almost 700 people to the event with 21 restaurants participating. The taste challenge will benefit Longley Elementary School and the Green Ladle scholarship fund.
