PARIS — Fred Schwaner’s sisters, Adele Charity and Joan Deans, and his widow, Rose Schwaner, were presented a plaque by Paris Elementary School Principal Jane Fahey at the Fred Schwaner Poetry Corner dedication on Wednesday at the elementary school. A story on Page B1 of Thursday’s Oxford Hills edition misidentified Charity as Julie Deans, who is Fred’s niece and who was in the audience at the dedication. The information was incorrectly reported by the Sun Journal.
