SABATTUS — The Burnt Meadow Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, has announced that the DAR Good Citizens for 2012 are Emilia Knausenberger from Oak Hill High School and Kyle Priddle from Lisbon High School.

Examples of Emilia’s leadership are treasurer of Oak Hill High and president of the National Honor Society. She is a ballet dancer and participated in an annual performance in Boston. Amelia has volunteered at the school’s blood drive in 2010 and in the Head Start Program in Lewiston and Auburn in 2011.

Kyle has played baseball for the school and has served as the treasurer of the Interact Club, attended the Junior’s Program, United States Naval Academy and is an official candidate for the academy having received nomination from Congressman Michaud.

Amelia and Kyle and their parents will be entertained by the chapter at a luncheon in April.
