Teen bullying is a serious issue. Being bullied not only affects a person emotionally, but also physically. It can scare and stress kids out so much they start to have medical problems. Also, being bullied is a repetitive form of harassment.
People are targeted because of their appearance or social status, or sometimes just because they are different from everyone else. Be honest, how often do most people see the popular kids with the name-brand belongings get bullied?
Whether they know it or not, pretty much everyone has been involved in bullying. Either being bullied, bullying or witnessing it.
Watching someone being bullied, and not saying anything, is just as bad. Experts advise that walking away when someone is bullied can take away the bully’s power, since nobody is cheering the bully on.
If teens see someone getting bullied, they should tell an adult. Nobody should get away with bullying, or being bullied.
Bullying is less likely to happen if the community has a strong message against it. I think that our community should have more clubs where kids could get together and be safe and can get information against bullying.
