NORWAY — The first show of the Oxford Hil’ls Music and Performing Arts Association’s 2012 season, Neil Simon’s “Jakes Women,” will open Thursday, May 3.

Jake, played by Tim Lorrain, is a writer who struggles to engage fully in his real life with his real wife, rather than remain safely holed up at his desk in the world he creates on paper. In his daydreams, he knows seven lovely, intelligent and sharp-tongued women.

The play contains adult humor and language.

Show dates are May 3-6 and May 10-13 at the Norway Grange on Whitman Street. Curtain is at 8 p.m. Tickets available at Books N Things on Main Street.
