Fitch
LEWISTON — The wedding of Sarah Celeste Caron and Harold Nathan Fitch was held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 7 at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. Msgr. Marc Caron officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Fitch is the daughter of Michael and Anne Caron of Lewiston. Mr. Fitch is the son of Cheryl Fitch of Colorado Springs, Colo.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a satin ivory strapless trumpet style wedding gown with fitted bodice, corset back and bolero jacket. She wore an antique hair piece made by the aunt and mother of the bridegroom. She carried her grandmother’s missal topped with Cymbidium orchids and Calla lilies. The same missal was carried by her sister, mother and grandmother at their weddings.
Renee Ronfeldt was matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Mary Caron, sister, Becky Tardif, Christine Bessett, Nicole Sanchez and Helena Thorsell, friends, and Corinne Dubois, cousin. Lola Morgan, second cousin, was flower girl.
Ian Kelly, cousin of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Nick Speidell, Nick Jenkins, Todd Blystone, Donald Knight and Alex Carillo, friends, and Will Ronfeldt, brother-in-law. Channing Kelly, second cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to St. Marten. They are residing in Massachusetts.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School in Auburn and a 2009 graduate of the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences. She also graduated in 2010 from a dietetic internship at Emory University Hospital. She is a registered dietitian manager at Get In Shape for Women in Bedford, Mass.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Colorado Springs, Colo. He is currently enrolled in school at Middlesex College in Lowell, Mass. He served eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps and served several tours in Iraq. He is currently working at L-1 Identity Solutions in Billerica, Mass.
