LEWISTON — Ray “Peatu” J. Blouin, 59, of Lewiston passed away on Friday, April 20, peacefully with his daughters by his side. Ray was born on January 29, 1953, the son of the Roland Blouin and Rita (Perreault) Blouin. He grew up in the Lewiston area and attended Lewiston schools. Ray worked for many years as a driver for Roland’s Dry Wall.

Ray absolutely loved playing softball along with watching the Bruins and listening to reggae music. He also loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed going on vacations, namely the Dominican Republic, and loved just spending time by the ocean and enjoying its peacefulness. Ray will always be remembered for the immense love he shared with and held for his daughters and granddaughters. He had a unique sense of humor that will be missed by his friends and family.

Ray is survived by his mother, Rita Blouin of Lewiston; best friend, Alice Cooper of Turner; daughters, Jacinta Storer and husband Richard of Auburn, Kasey Morin and husband Josh of Lewiston, Taylor Blouin of Auburn; grandchildren, Alivia (Livy) Blouin-Storer, Koral Morin, and Jalen Allison. He also held a special place in his heart for daughter Rachel Bull and her daughters, Kayla and Ashley of Conn.; sisters, Louise Blouin and companion Fernando of Lewiston, andPauline Blouin of Lewiston; brothers, Roger Blouin and wife Lorraine of Lewiston, and Leo Blouin and wife Terry of Lewiston. Ray has been loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father, Roland Blouin, and brother, Eugene Blouin.
