LEWISTON — Jean M. Larkin, 82, of College Street and formerly of Madison Street, Augusta, died April 21, at Central Maine Medical Center, after a brief illness.

She was born in Lubec, Jan. 16, 1930, the daughter of George F. McCann and Madeline P. (Whittier) McCann. Mrs. Larkin was a 1948 graduate of Cony High School in Augusta. She was employed for many years by the State of Maine.

Surviving are two sons, Scot Larkin and his wife, Kristin, of Gorham and Glendon L. Larkin Jr. and his wife, Jo-Ellen, of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Kate and Samuel Larkin and Brandon and Megan Larkin; a sister-in-law, Jean McCann of Surry; and a niece, Paula Weber of Augusta.

She was predeceased by her husband, Glendon L. Larkin Sr. on June 28, 1979; and her brother, Paul McCann.
