ANSWER: The traditional sun lamp doesn’t seem to be as popular any more — perhaps because of fears of skin cancer — but you can find them online.

They are several available one at Amazon.com (1-800-201-7575) and one at Walmart.com ($99), but the biggest supply seems to be at tanninglamps4less.com. You can contact them at 1-800-274-1744.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Years ago I used to buy meat packages from Ouellette’s Variety on Minot Avenue in Auburn. Sadly, they have long since closed and I was curious if there are other businesses that offer meat packages in the area?

ANSWER: Sun Spots isn’t quite sure she understands what you mean by meat packages, but a search for that term online revealed plenty of companies selling bulk packages of meat. Those include beansmeats.com, kenricks.com, haverhillbeef.com and more.

When she searched for “meat packaging,” Sun Spots turned up waltonsinc.com, westonsupply.com, butchersupply.net and ultrasourceusa.com (vacuum pouches). Some of these companies provide everything you need for storing meat at home.

If you order online, items will be sent to your house, usually via UPS or FedEx.
