NORWAY — Robert K. Knight, 79, of South Paris died Sunday, April 22, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Martinsville, Ind., Dec. 16, 1932, the son of James and Myrtle Settles Knight. He attended schools in Indiana and faithfully served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.

He worked at Hillcrest chicken processing plant and later at Belfast Poultry Plant. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and horse racing.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Russell Knight of South Paris; a son, David Knight of South Paris; two granddaughters, Theresa Knight of Gorham and Michelle Knight of Farmington; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Roy of Locke Mills and Frank Knight of Indiana; and a sister, Virginia Heath.
