Officer nominations

RUMFORD — The Rumford Falls Aerie 1248 Fraternal Order Eagles will hold nomination of officers at the regular meeting to be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25.

Offices open for election are president, vice-president, chaplain, secretary, treasurer, conductor, inside guard, outside guard, one three-year trustee and two one-year trustees.

Any member wishing to be nominated for office needs to give their name to the secretary prior to the opening of nominations or be present at the meeting.

Stephens High Class of 1963

Church plans birthday meal

ANDOVER — The 74th annual Birthday Supper will take place Saturday, April 28, at Andover Congregational Church.

Menu will be turkey and all the fixings, with birthday cake for dessert. Seatings at 5 and 6 p.m. Adults, $8; children under 12, $4.

Teen holding fundraiser

MEXICO — Kayla Pingree, a sophomore at Mountain Valley High School, has been selected to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine in Boston.

To help raise the money for her attendance, housing and college credits — she will receive two upon completion of the forum — she will have a car wash and bake sale on Saturday, April 28, behind the Mexico Fire Station.

Sportsman’s Club meeting

DIXFIELD — Webb River Sportsman’s Club, Canton Point Road, will meet Monday, April 30. Supper will be at 6:30, meeting at 7 p.m. New members are welcome.

Horseshoe Club to practice

RUMFORD — The Rumford Mexico Horseshoe Club is getting ready to start a fun-filled season. The season will start Monday, April 30, with practice nights for the first few weeks at the Hosmer Field Complex at 6 p.m.
