RUMFORD — A royal event will take place on Sunday, April 29, at the Rumford American Legion from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a parade at 12:30 p.m.

Calling all princes and princesses. It’s a party for royalty. Attendees are invited to wear their favorite royal attire and have a day of fun fit for a prince or princess. Girls will have their nails and makeup done while boys will have races. All will have crafts, games, lunch and a royal parade. There will be drawings and a gift bag to take home. Cost is $10 per child.

Also, for the princesses at heart, there will be a bake sale and raffles. Lunch for adults will be $3 extra. Pictures will be available for $2.

The event is put on by the Cancer Crusaders Relay For Life with all proceeds going to the River Valley Relay. Call Cindi at 357-2701, Jenn at 364-2613 or Allison at 357-7084 to purchase a ticket. Tickets also available at Davis Florist. Tickets purchased by April 25 will get a free picture.
