LEWISTON — Community Credit Union announces the hiring of Betsy Sibley as the marketing/business development director.

Formerly, Sibley worked as an insurance agent for Varney Agency. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Thomas College and nearly 10 years’ experience in consumer and business sales.

Sibley is involved in the community, serving as an ambassador with the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce. She is also a certified insurance counselor through the National Alliance. She is a new member of the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club, a volunteer coach for the Turner Athletic Association and a volunteer at the Turner Primary School.

She resides in Turner with her husband and sons.
