Alpaca School, 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 12, at Andes Alpaca Farm, Auburn. Preregistration required. Learn about sustainable fiber farming and fiber arts in Maine. Chilean native Morelia Candia will lead a cultural tour of the Andes and mountains and its remarkable inhabitant, the alpaca.
Babysitter training, 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 17. For children 11-15. Students receive American Red Cross Babysitter Training certification and a Babysitter Training Handbook with Emergency Reference Guide.
