LAS VEGAS — The team known as the Gruesome Twosome, Sean Higgins and Line Thibeault of Lewiston, finished as runners-up in the Jack & Jill Doubles division at the APA national championship pool tournament.

This was Higgins and Thibeault’s first year playing together. The two are members of the same league but do not normally play on the same team. The visit to the Riviera Hotel and Casino also represented their first time competing at the national level.

It is believed to be the highest finish in the Jack & Jill Championship of any team from Maine. The pair earned $3,000 for their efforts.
