TURNER — The Turner Timberland ATV Club welcomes new members.

Reasons to join an ATV club include: Clubs are entities that obtain private landowners permission to put the trails on the landowner property. Clubs build and main the trails on private landowner property. Clubs work with landowners when they have an issue with ATV riders. Clubs work with ATV Maine to respond to proposed legislation that affects all ATV riders. Clubs work with the Department of Conservation on items that affect all ATV riders. Clubs organize fun rides and events for members and others. Clubs interact with other clubs for updates on trail conditions, trail maps and fund-raising events for local charities. Several large landowners require riders on their property to be members of an ATV Maine Club.

Turner Timberland ATV Club meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Turner Fire Station, 19 General Turner Hill Road. For more information visit www.turnertimberlandatv.com or Turner Timberland ATV Club on Facebook or call Matt, club president, at 212-3779.
