LIVERMORE FALLS – A newspaper delivery man reported early Monday that a glass door was broken out at the Corner Store on Pleasant Street.
Someone threw a concrete block through the window between about 12:30 and 2:20 a.m., police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.
The estimate of damage is $1,000, he said.
An officer patrolling the downtown area on foot had last checked the Corner Store about 12:30 a.m., he said.
Sgt. Steve Allen checked out the store after the 2:20 a.m. report, and it appeared nothing had been touched. The owner was also notified.
