Addison Avery of Auburn presented the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society with the donations from her eighth birthday party on April 17. Addison, a second-grade student at the Fairview Elementary School, asked for donations for the pets in lieu of birthday gifts. The shelter is located at 55 Strawberry Ave., Lewiston.
