LEWISTON — More video. More networking. And Mike Miclon’s back.

The Lewiston-Auburn Economic Growth Council plans, for the third year in a row, to style its annual meeting in homage to “The Tonight Show” with comedian Miclon as host and performers Jason and Matthew Tardy as co-hosts and entertainment on May 22.

LAEGC Marketing Director Calvin Rinck said the evening has been designed to highlight the positives of the last year. Taking to Miclon’s couch: Richard Surace, a senior vice president at Carbonite, organizers of the Lewiston-Auburn Film Festival and LAEGC board Chairman Dan Thayer.

After moving here less than a year ago, Carbonite employs almost 200 people, Rinck said.

LAFF wrapped its second successful festival weekend in April.

The L-A Tonight Show will start at 4:30 p.m. at the Ramada Inn with a networking hour; the show starts at 5:30 p.m. The evening wraps at 8:30 p.m., a half-hour earlier than last year, Rinck said, and more networking time has been built into the dinner, another change.

Representatives from the cities of Lewiston and Auburn will also hand out Economic Achievement Awards during the night.

Last year, 260 people attended, Rinck said. This year is on pace for the same.

Reservations are due by May 18. The cost is $45 per person or $315 for a table of eight. More information at www.economicgrowth.org
