Tyngtown Club’s annual plant sale will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at Academy Hill School cafeteria in Wilton. Plants are donated by club members and others in the community. Each year the selection of available plants has grown to include locally grown perennials, seedlings, herbs, shrubs and specialty plants. Tyngtown gardeners will answer gardening-related questions. There will be a bake sale featuring homemade pies, cakes and breads. Proceeds will support a variety of community groups and activities.
