The Maine State Junior Gold Bowlers have four more qualifiers for the North Pointe National Junior Gold Championships in Indianapolis in July.
A boy and a girl qualified from both the Maine State Youth Open tournament, held at Meadow Lanes in Wilton, April 14-15 and April 21-22, and the Pepsi Youth Bowling Championships, held at Yankee Lanes in Portland on April 28. Bowlers had to qualify in their youth leagues to bowl in the Pepsi tournament.
The qualifiers are Danny Barry, Brooke Leger, Matthew Harzewski and McCayla Donna. Barry bowls out of Meadow Lanes in Wilton. Leger bowls out of Sparetime Recreation in Lewiston. Harzewski and Donna bowl out of Family Fun Bowling Center in Bangor.
There will be one more qualifier to be determined at a Junior Gold event, May 19, at Sparetime in Augusta.
