A Cappella concert

AUGUSTA — Maine-ly Harmony Chorus and the Kennebec Valley YMCA Youth Chorus will present Spring Into A Cappella Sound at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at the Vile’s Arboretum, 153 Hospital St. This musical program of barbershop-style four-part harmony will delight young and old alike, as the women’s chorus performs old favorites and the students sing Disney theme songs.

Handling paperwork

CHESTERVILLE — The North Chesterville Extension Homemakers will sponsor a presentation on “Documents — What to Save, What to Toss, and When” at 7 p.m. Monday, May 21, at the Chesterville Town Office on the Dutch Gap Road.

H & R Block agent, Dolores Tyler, with 15 years of experience, will share her expertise about documents with the group and the community.

Plant sale in Canton

CANTON — A plant sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 26 and 27, at the Heritage Park, Route 108.

The sale is sponsored by the Canton Parks and Trails Committee.

Plant, bake sale, bean supper

INDUSTRY — On Saturday, May 26, a plant sale to benefit Camp at the Eastward Youth Scholarships, and a bake sale to benefit Sparrows Nest Community Kitchen will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Industry Town Hall. The sale will be followed by a baked bean and casserole supper at 5 p.m. with salads, breads, beverages and desserts, to benefit Progressive Club for community projects. WILTON — Literacy Volunteers of Franklin and Somerset Counties will hold a rummage sale to raise money for various tutoring programs, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at the West Farmington Elks Lodge, 120 School St.
