NAPLES — Have you ever been in a situation where you had to choose between your own interests and the best interests of others?

That dilemma plays out in “The Day the Frogs Went Hopping Mad,” written by Heath A. Roberts of Casco, who will give a book signing Tuesday, May 22, at the Naples Public Library.

The book centers around an elderly man reflecting on a time when as a young boy he went on a frog hunt in the woods. Driven by visions of grandeur and fame, he went to his own little “frog pot of gold” in pursuit of the Big Daddy, the frog to win all frog contests. Little did he know what adventure would unfold and what lesson he would learn.

The signing will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the library in the historic Locust House on Route 302.
