RUMFORD — Tommy Puiia has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of Maine, Orono.

The son of Thomas and Linda Puiia of Rumford, Puiia is a 2009 graduate of Mountain Valley High School. He is majoring in mechanical engineering while also pursuing his masters in business administration.

Puiia is a recipient of the Presidential Achievement Award, a member of the Collegiate National Honor Society and a recipient of the Pulp and Paper Foundation Scholarship Award.
