AUBURN — Yvonne Morissette, 99, of Rosedale Street, Lewiston, died Tuesday, May 15, at the Androscoggin Hospice House with her family by her side.

She was born Dec. 7, 1912, in Canada, the daughter of Archelas and Marie (Fortier) Champagne and moved to this area with her family at the age of 5.

She worked for many years in retail at the Sears Roebuck Co. until her retirement at the age of 65.

She was a member of Holy Cross Church. Yvonne loved to play cards, sew and travel.

She is survived by her sons, Ernest and wife, Vivian, of Pittston, Roland and wife, Mary, of Biddeford, and Robert of Lewiston; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, seven sisters and a brother.
