Historical Society meeting

PARIS — The West Paris Historical Society will meet Monday, May 21, with a potluck supper at 6 p.m. and the regular meeting at 7 p.m.

The entertainment will be Ted Jones speaking on the downtown portion of the village to see if there is enough interest in a historical block registration. There are always many advantages to being on the National Historical Register.

Any home owner from Agnes Gray School through town to lower Church Street, Park Street, Maple Street to the railroad tracks are more than welcome to attend at 7 p.m. Those wishing to come to the supper should bring a dish.

OTISFIELD — The Food Pantry will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 25, at East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, Rayville Road.

St. Never’s Day Sale planned

BETHEL — The Bethel Historical Society’s annual St. Never’s Day Sale will take place on Saturday, May 26. All proceeds benefit the society’s general operations. This year’s sale will be held under a large tent at the corner of Mason and Broad streets, rain or shine, and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
