MINOT — Minnie Jane White, 69, of Minot, died Thursday, May 17 at her home with her family by her side.
Born in Sanford on Feb. 25, 1943, a daughter of Harris Bean and Zita Jordan, she was educated in local schools. She worked for many years as a stitcher at Etonic Shoe Co. and later as a bartender and manager at the New Auburn Social Club. She enjoyed being a member of the local dart league and loved her family July Fourth cookout.
Minnie will be remembered for being sole supporter of her five children until she was united to William; and her dedication to her whole family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, William B. White of Minot, whom she married in 1995; her daughters, Donna Varga and husband, Miloslav of Florida and Julie Smith and husband, Ed of Durham; her sons, Clifford Bussiere of Lisbon, Scott Bussiere and wife, Sue of Litchfield, John Bussiere of Minot and Robert Bussiere and wife Lisa, of Lewiston; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Rhonda McKinley of Ohio, Annette Savage and husband, Sheldon of Buckfield, Patricia Turcotte and husband, Bert of Litchfield, Wendy Herrick and husband, David of Otisfield; three brothers, Ben Bean and wife. Beverly of New Hampshire, Clifford Bean and wife, Dot of Ohio and Dexter Jordan and wife, Cindy of Hebron.
She was predeceased by her mom, Zita Jordan; sister, Beverly Grondin; sister-in-law, Linda White; brothers-in-law, Richard White, John White, Arthur Grondin and Berman McKinley; and niece, Erika Bolduc.
