HARTFORD — Steven and Pamela Varney of Monmouth are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Nicole Marie Varney of Hartford, to Brian Eugene Pratt of Hartford, son of Bob and Lisa Pratt of Turner.

Miss Varney is currently a student at Central Maine Community College, completing her degree for medical assistant.

Mr. Pratt is employed at Johns Manville.

The wedding is planned for June 23 in Monmouth.
