WEST PARIS — Carol L. Corriveau, 67, of West Paris, died Saturday evening at her home.
She was born in Southbridge, Mass., March 7, 1945, the daughter of Lawrence and Helen Smith Christianson. She attended Tantasqua Regional High School.
On Dec. 28, 1962, she married her lifelong love, Robert Corriveau.
She was a homemaker for several years and also owned her own candy store, “Sweets Candy Shop,” in Sturbridge, Mass. She worked for the Department of Agriculture in South Paris and was a jewelry consultant at Perham’s in West Paris.
She attended St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Norway and was a member of the prayer shawl group of the church. She formerly served as secretary for the Women’s Network and the Western Maine Art Group. She was a local artist and participated in many art shows, including the Leominster Art Group, where she won ribbons for her artwork. She was a member of the West Paris Planning Board and also a member of the Ordway Grove Nature Club.
Survivors include her husband of West Paris; a son, Gene Corriveau of South Paris; her daughter, Carlene Corriveau Logan of Glen Burnie, Md.; two grandsons, Dale Corriveau and Andrew Logan; and a brother, John Christianson of Brimfield, Mass.
