The Maine Conservation Corps (MCC) recently welcomed Elise Giasson of Auburn to serve as a Senior Team Leader. Giasson is the daughter of Kim Lessard and Mike Giasson of Auburn.

She is a 2007 graduate of Edward Little High School and has attended the University of Maine Farmington. The MCC conducts conservation projects throughout the state, including extensive trail construction and rehabilitation.

As a Senior Team Leader, Giasson will support the MCC’s Field Team and assist in the successful completion of trails projects during the summer and fall seasons. Giasson has served with the MCC for the last three seasons, starting as a Team Member in 2009 and working up to her current position. She is also a 2011 graduate of the MCC’s Trail Training Academy.
