MITCHELL, S.D. — Nearly 40 high school students were awarded scholarships to Dakota Wesleyan University during Presidential Scholarship Day.

The students were all recognized as Presidential Scholars. To apply, students must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, 21 ACT or 980 SAT. Scholarships ranged in the amount of $10,750 to $13,000 per year.

Nicole Court-Menendez was awarded the Presidential Academic/Athletic Scholarship. She is the daughter of Carolyn Court and Tom Menendez of Lewiston, Maine.
