RUMFORD — Priscilla M. Chartier, 69, passed away, with her family by her side, May 16, at Rumford Hospital.

She was born in Rumford, May 14, 1943, the daughter of Phillip and Rita Letourneau. On May 26, 1962, she married her best friend, Rosaire Chartier and together they raised three children.

Priscilla loved spending time with her family and going to “camp.” She enjoyed going to Canada, Massachusetts and Connecticut, where she would spend time with family and friends and always had to stop at Foxwoods, before returning home. She loved to laugh, joke and have a good time, no matter where or what she was doing and made us all laugh too. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and a very special grandmother.

She attended Rumford schools and was employed by NewPage (Boise Cascade) for many years, before retiring.

Priscilla is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rosaire; two children, Daniel and wife, Pamela, and Lisa Walsh and husband, Shawn; her beloved grandson, Cody Austin; mother, Rita Letourneau; sister, Ann Bellegarde and husband, Fern; brothers, Phillip and wife, Mary and Paul Letourneau; many nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law and very special friends; and also three loving granddogs.

She was predeceased by a son, David Chartier; and her father, Phillip Letourneau.

The family wishes to thank everyone who touched her life.
