FARMINGTON — Funeral services for Paul A. Judkins Jr. were held Friday at the Old South Congregational Church with the Rev. Richard Bennett officiating. Organist was Patricia Hayden and favorite songs, sung by the congregation, included “The Little Brown Church in the Vale,” “Just A Closer Walk With Thee” and “The Doxology.” His daughter, Cheryl Pike, recited Psalm 121. Speakers included David Dixon, MD, Burgess Record, MD, Charles Murray, Gus Colpitts, Timothy Hardy (who spoke the written words of Paul’s son, Peter Judkins) and grandson, Joshua Pike. Following services, a reception was held in the church vestry, hosted by the Old South Hospitality Committee. Bearers were granddaughter, Heidi Judkins Lachapelle and her husband, Louis Pierre Lachapelle, grandson, Tyler Judkins and his fiancee, Katie Cohen, granddaughter, Kristana Lamoureux and her husband, Michael Lamoureux and grandson, Joshua Pike and his wife, Sarah Pike. Following cremation, private family committal services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Farmington. Full military honors provided by Camp Keyes, Augusta. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center.
