American Legion Post 10 Adjutant Don Simoneau has 700 to 800 news clippings of veterans from World War II, Korean War and Vietnam for people to peruse during History Night from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in downtown Livermore Falls. Simoneau of Fayette said he will display them on six tables in the Lamb Block Building on Depot Street. One of the interesting items is how many women from the area served in the military, he said. He will have several photos of national monuments. Simoneau said he also will have the first print of a list of names of World War II veterans who served from Livermore and Livermore Falls. He will have a draft of a sculpture for the World War II monument.
