Students from the Boxberry School participated in opening day at the Norway Farmer’s Market on Thursday, selling plants they had grown from seeds purchased through a small grant from the Maine Community Foundation. At the table, from left, are Whyse Cummings, of Poland; Oliver Barrett, of Albany Township; Calvin Grover and Emmett Grover, of Norway; Sophie List of Bethel and Myles Barrett of Albany Township. A large crowd was on hand for the market’s opening day. The market is in the parking lot behind the Fare Share on Main Street in Norway every Thursday afternoon from 2 to 6 p.m. and features produce, flowers, wood products, breads, lobsters and much more.
