WEYMOUTH, Mass —  Antoinette (Fraser) Lafleur, 95, of Quincy, formerly of Auburn, died peacefully, Saturday, May 26, at the Colonial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Weymouth, after a brief illness.

She was born in Frenchville, raised and educated in Van Buren and was a graduate of Van Buren Girls High School. She lived in Quincy for 22 years after living in Auburn.

Antoinette was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo and knitting. She was proud to have participated in making many afghans for newborn babies through the Parent to Parent Program in Quincy. She also enjoyed traveling to Ecuador.

She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald S. Lafleur.

She is survived by two daughters, Claudette Newhall and her husband, Gerald, of Braintree, Mass., and  Suzanne Medinaceli of Braintree; two sons, Daniel Lafleur and his wife, Janet, of Westmoreland, N.H., and Joel Lafleur, M.D., and his wife, Jane, of Camden; a sister, Sister of Lorraine Fraser of Lewiston; grandchildren,  Ana Canelos and her husband, Christos of Falmouth, Mass., Erika D’Arcangelo and her husband. Bryan, of Allston, Mass., Andrea Medinaceli of Raleigh, N.C., Sophia Lafleur and Hannah Lafleur, both of New Hampshire, Adam Lafleur of Elkton, Md., and Sarah Lafleur of Camden; two great-grandchildren, Anastasia and Sofia; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, Donat and Jane (Vaillancourt) Fraser; three sisters, Annette Fraser, Ivette Dube and Joan Bussiere; and two brothers, Armand Fraser and Louis Fraser.
