JAY — The Chamber of Commerce for the tri-town area will hold a breakfast meeting at 7 a.m. Friday, June 1, at LaFleur’s Restaurant on Main Street.

State legislators, who represent the Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls area, have been invited to recap highlights of the recent legislative session and the upcoming session.

After breakfast and networking, a business meeting and program will be held at 7:30 a.m.

People are asked to RSVP to the chamber office by 10 a.m. Thursday, May 31.

There will be a recap of History Night and an update on the June 16 Scholarship Golf Tournament during the meeting. The new 2012-13 Area Guide will be available, as well as the Wilton Blueberry Festival booklet.

The 2012 HealthWorks! Worksite Wellness Program Awards will be presented by Leanne DiMaio, program coordinator for Healthy Community Coalition.

Chamber members will put gift bags together Wednesday, June 13, for the golf tournament. It is an opportunity to advertise organizations to both the chamber and community members by including a promotional item in the bag. The chamber will need 72 items by Monday, June 11.

Those may be dropped off at Ameriprise on Route 4 in Jay. PuroClean on Route 4 in Livermore or the chamber office and a committee member will pick them up.

Those attending this coming Friday’s breakfast meeting could drop them off with chamber administrative assistant, Bonnie Perkins at that time.
