Lisbon Street is smiling yet at the little episode that enlivened the Tuesday morning business in the heart of the shopping district. It is said (we don’t pretend to know and neither does any one else) to have begun some days ago. The parties were Edgar T. Lambert, driver of a city of Lewiston team, and Conductor Penney of the Turner line of L.A. and W. Street Railway. It appears that Lambert had been smarting under some thought or fancied grievance against Penney. At any rate, he drove his team across the track and held up the car, where he opened a vigorous debate. Penney came aft with his controller-handle in his hand and the debate took on a livelier tone. Lambert was ordered to remove the team, and after the car went along, the team walked off and was finally run down way down Lisbon Street.
