NORWAY – Mary F. Rolfe, 68, of Albany went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 28.
She was born in Muskogee, Okla., on June 9, 1943, the daughter of James, Sr. and Nettie (Langford) Day.
She married Harold (Hank) Rolfe on Aug. 5, 1989.
She worked in customer service and for many years was a bookkeeper and housewife.
Mary was a very giving and caring person and always placed others ahead of herself. She loved her dogs, Mikki and Lacy, and taking care of her yard and her pool. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking large meals, camping and going to yard sales.
She is survived by her husband, Hank of Albany; children, Jennifer Bassett and husband, Walter Jr., Laurie Herndon and husband, Sean, Jackie Morin and husband, Adrien, Danny Rolfe and partne,r Pam McAlister, and Lorrie Hatstat and husband, Chris; 12 grandchildren, Joey, David, Danielle, Katie, Abby, Jordin, Jami, Joshua, Savanna, Alyssa, Baylee and Brennan; a great grandchild, Cassie Pfleger; siblings, James Day Jr. and his wife, Anita, Betty Bachman and husband, Bart, Georgia Stevens and her husband, Dana, Chris McCormack and husband, David, and sister, Nancy Hill.
She is predeceased by a son, Christopher James; her best friend, Ella Rolfe “Mammie” and her parents, James and Nettie Day.
