STONEHAM — Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865,  met May 23 at the Community Room.

A memorial service was held for deceased members. Frances Grant served as senior vice president pro-tem in the absence of Elaine Lagueux.

Beth Jones was installed as color bearer and Loretta Andrews was installed as guard.

Past tent president Wanda Ryerson was installing officer. Tent 19 was invited to the initiation of a new member in Tent 8 at the Western Maine Veterans Home.

Marilyn Jones acted as senior vice president and Dayle Burnell acted as patriotic instructor.

There will be no meeting in June due to Department of Maine DUVCW Convention, which will be held June 23 at the Hampton Inn in Waterville.

The next Tent 19 meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, location to be announced later.
