CANTON — Frederick and Tracey Richards of Hermon are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elaine Richards, to Brian Raymond Keene, son of Steven and Deborah Keene of Canton.
Miss Richards is a 2010 graduate of Hermon High School. After graduating, she worked on her family’s farm in Hermon for a few months and then moved to Canton with her fiance and has since been working on his family’s dairy farm, Conant Acres, as a herdsperson, taking care of the cows and doing daily chores.
Mr. Keene is a 2006 graduate of Dirigo High School School. After graduating, he went to Central Maine Community College and graduated in 2009 with an associate degree in computers. After graduating from CMCC, he continued on to the University of Maine at Augusta, where he is currently working on getting his bachelor’s degree in computer information systems. He currently works for Western Foothills Region School Unit 10 in Dixfield as a technology specialist.
The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. on June 16 at Bradbury Memorial Chapel in Canton.
