LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice has announced that seven volunteers completed the visiting, office and hospice house greeter training held recently.
Those who attended the training include Joy Ayotte of Auburn, Carol Brown of Durham, Fran Cloutier of Lewiston, Kathleen Delehanty of Auburn, Jan Marks of Lovell, Tom Reichard of Auburn and Donna Rice-Howe of Waterford.
All Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice Volunteers are members of the health care team and are matched with patients in or near their communities. The training classes focus on volunteer opportunities that support patients receiving home care services as they recover from illness, surgery or a new medical condition.
The next visitor volunteer training class will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, 15 Strawberry Ave. For information contact Volunteer Services at 795-9580 or 1-800-482-7412.
