PARIS — The Oxford Hills/Buckfield Adult Education program will offer the following classes beginning in July:

Computer Lab: Denise Dumont; learn basic computer skills, appropriate for adults who want to improve computer skills for work, school and college transitions. Thursdays, July 12 to Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon; tuition, $75; book fee, $20; Western Maine University College Center.

Reading/Writing Skills: C.J. Skofield; appropriate for adults who want to improve computer skills for work, school and college transitions. Thursdays, July 12 to Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon; tuition, $75; book, $20; Western Maine University College Center, Room 210.

Math Skills: C.J. Skofield; appropriate for adults who want to brush or learn new math skills for work, school and college transitions. Tuesdays, July 10 to Aug. 14, from 9 a.m. to noon; tuition, $75; book, $20; Western Maine University College Center, Room 210.

GED/Academic Preparation: Clancy Allen; prepare for GED in reading, writing, science, social studies and math. Wednesdays, July 11 to Aug. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m.; tuition, $75; book, $20; Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Library.

GED Testing: Clyde Clark; for adults who have been enrolled in GED preparation classes and are ready to take the official GED tests. Wednesdays, July 11 to Aug. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m.; free; high school Adult Education office; call for appointment.

Substitute Teacher Training: Patrick Hartnett; workshop gives the necessary tools to become a substitute teacher. Tuesday, July 10, from 4 to 6 p.m.; free; Oxford Hills Administrative Office, 1570 Main St., Oxford. Call Diane Gerry to register at 743-8972.
