‘Financing your future’

JAY — RSU 73 Spruce Mountain Adult & Community Education will offer a free “Financing your future” workshop that will be presented by the Finance Authority of Maine at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at the Spruce Mountain Adult & Community Education learning center.

The workshop will help participants plan how to pay for college and how to manage money now. Call 897-6384 to register.

YWCA camp reunion

LINCOLNVILLE — Tanglewood 4H Camp will host a YWCA Camp alumni reunion from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16.

Anyone who was a camper, counselor, staff member, relative or friend at Camp Tanglewood between 1939 and 1972 is invited to participate in a day of reminiscing, sharing stories and discovery. The 4-H Camp will provide snacks and lunch, but preregistration and a $5 donation for lunch is encouraged.

Participants in the reunion are encouraged to bring photos and memorabilia which they can share.

Garden Club to meet

WILTON — Mt. Blue Area Garden Club members will meet at Mary Green’s home on 253 Temple Road in East Wilton at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 19.

Members and guests are invited to come enjoy the beginning endeavors of Mary’s perennial gardens and the spectacular view of Pease Pond.

Bring a box lunch, a lawn chair and a plant to swap. Hostesses Jeannine LeVigne, Louise Marcous and Janalee Welch will provide desserts and beverages. Club president Amy Palmer will conduct the meeting. Anyone interested in gardening is invited. For information call 645-2067.
