FARMINGTON — It is both the end of the year and the end of an era at Mt. Blue High School.
In late June, demolition will begin on the Mt. Blue Auditorium and the Mt. Blue Curtain Raisers improv troupe is set to throw a comedic sendoff on Tuesday, June 19.
The evening of musical performances from the likes of “Last Man in Space” and good-natured mayhem will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the auditorium.
The group performs games similar to those featured on shows such “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and longer improvised scenes, telling stories based on ideas offered by audience members.
Besides bidding adieu to the old auditorium, the Curtain Raisers will say goodbye to three seniors: Morgan Spencer, John Evans and Alex James.
Admission is $3. For more information, contact Curtain Raisers Artistic Director Dan Ryder at 778-3561 or [email protected].
